Tacoma Olympia OB3CE No. 4

I made this baritone guitar out of a Tacoma Olympia OB3CE – basically the Olympia brand of Thundercheif.  It has the word “used” stamped onto the back of the headstock indicating that it is factory refurbished. I found one scratch on the side of the bass upper bout that I have minimized and no other flaws while I was converting it and it shows almost no signs of use at all. The plastic is still on the truss rod cover. This is one big beautiful guitar. Out of the 130+ guitars I have made so far, this model has the biggest, deepest bottom end tone yet. If you finger pick or don’t strum overly hard you can tune this guitar down to G – G very easily with regular guitar strings and it will still sound great. If you play in situations where there is no bass and you plan on filling in by walking the bass line on your guitar, this is the ideal guitar for you. I have finished it with gold tuners and a sound port. The owner of the other three I have made love theirs and you can see one of the owners playing his in the customer videos section of my website. I am selling it on eBay for $650 with no case. As of this writing I do have a hard case in good condition for an additional $75.  Sold - Thanks Mike!

  1. Terry was right about this guitar. I also have a Gibson B25, a Taylor 410, and have previously owned a Martin DM, but I think I enjoy this one best. Terry set it up just right. It works great for accompaniment. I'm proud to own it and recommend Terry to anyone who is interested. Thanks Terry, for a great guitar at a great price. Mike
